Chanice Lee Receives BET Black Girls Rock Award

 
 

Chanice Lee, a 2019 Nyah Project Fellow received the BET Black Girls Rock Award for her impactful work in youth activism.

 
 

Chanice is a teen activist, author, speaker and blogger who has dedicated her life to promoting social awareness among black teens. Her book “Young Revolutionary: A Teen’s Guide to Activism” is a playbook for the socially conscious Generation Z. Chanice is also the Creator & Editor-in-Chief of ‘The Melanin Diary’, which is the #1 online global platform for social justice, history, politics, and more, written entirely from the Black teens perspective. Chanice participated in the 2019 Nyah fellowship in Bali, Indonesia and plans to attend Howard University in the fall of 2020.
