Nyah Project x Rivero Mestre

June 15, 2023 (Miami) | Nyah Project is grateful for the support of new board member, Andres Rivero, and his law firm Rivero Mestre, which hosted a networking event & friendraiser/fundraiser for the organization.

Two 2022 Nyah Fellows, Layla Bleu Jackson-Yanez and Adrian Oyola, were in attendance and spoke to the room of lawyers and friends about the doors that Nyah Project has opened up for them as they pursue careers in law. Layla is attending University of Miami, majoring in Sport Administration on a pre-law track, while Adrian is attending Loyola University Chicago, majoring in Global & International Studies on a pre-law track. Both Fellows utilized their Nyah Project experience and Access Online to help them win full scholarships to attend school.

Rivero joined the Nyah Project board of directors in 2023. He also mentors Ashley Adirika, 2021 Nyah Fellow who is on the pre-law track at Harvard University, Rivero’s alma mater.
