We recently completed the LEAD Series (LEAD Workshop, LEAD Summit, and Global Impact Challenge) with 44 semi-finalists as part of the selections process for our signature Global Youth Leadership Fellowship.

Each semi-finalist who completed LEAD also received a Certification in Experiential Leadership!

This year’s participants reported:

  • 100% developed new leadership skills

  • 98% were more empowered/inspired to make a difference in the world

  • 95% became more confident in their identity and how they show up in the world

  • 95% gained/refined skills to help them in the college admissions process

  • 95% gained/refined skills to help them in acquiring scholarships for college

Throughout the LEAD Series, teams of students devised solutions to real-world problems related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as part of the 3rd Global Impact Challenge. The Challenge showcases their international impact partners while encouraging students to apply experiential learning skills to social responsibility & impact. After the five-day public voting period, the top 4 teams pitched to a panel of judges during the LEAD Summit on March 4th.

A big congratulations to all participating teams, especially the winner, Menyambut Masa Lalumu, which partnered with Stella's Child in Indonesia to split a $1,000 microgrant.
