Fellows Spotlight: Tyler McCray

Our very own entrepreneur and small business owner, Tyler McCray (2021 Nyah Fellow), is attending Tennessee State University where he plans to study Sports Medicine on a full scholarship this fall!

During the pandemic, Tyler and his brother started their own small business, Turbo and Trill Candle Company. They sell homemade candles for “clients to relax, refocus, and reset.” The company makes “candles for a cause", donating a percentage of sales — they are currently focused on helping to eliminate childhood hunger.

They have curated a wonderful line of candles with a variety of scents for everyone to enjoy.
